Congratulations to Coach Kelsey Baker and the Leahi '03 Premier team on claiming the U12 Girls division championship of the 2015 HYSA State Championships. The '03 Premier defeated the Leahi '03 Green team in the final on the 7th shooter in PKs. This victory completes a Leahi SC sweep of the U12 Girls divisions in all Hawaii tournaments this spring.

Kristen Hori Named Hawaii Girls Gatorade Player of the Year!

Iolani's Kristen Hori was named the 2015 Girls Hawaii High School Gatorade Player of the Year. Kristen is a life-long member of Leahi Soccer Club and plays with the '97 Maile team. Kristen will be attending Johns Hopkins University in the Fall. 2015 ILH All-Stars
(3/5/2015)The Interscholastic League of Honolulu released it's Girls Soccer All Star lists today. Leahi Soccer Club swept the Player of the Year Honors.  Kristen Hori a Senior Forward from Iolani School was named the ILH's Offensive Player of the Year, while Kamehameha's Hope Tsuneyoshi was named ILH Defensive Player of the Year.  Leahi placed 8 players on the ILH's First team.  In all, 23 Leahi members were recognized by the league. Congratulations to ALL Leahi players on a great season! We also extend our  Congratulations to Leahi Alum, Punahou's Starr Johnson named ILH Coach of the year,

Leahi SC Claims 12th MISO W1 League Championship!
MISO W Champs - Fall '14

On 11/9/2014, Leahi Soccer Club won the MISO W1 Championship in resounding fashion. Tani Costa (Penn State alum) scored a "hat trick" to lead the team to a 7-2 win over the Bulls Junior team.  Other College alums joining Tani on the Women's team are Kelsey Baker (Pepperdine), Sammi Teramae (University of Pacific); Jolie Nitta (Azusa Pacific), Lizzy Carlson (University of Denver) and Amber Fuller, Christy Watanabe, Karli Look, Joelle Sugai (all of the University of Hawaii).

Leahi SC was represented by the 01 Premier at the US Club Soccer National Cup Finals in Greensboro North Carolina. The 01s were undefeated in pool play and lost a tough final 2-1 in OT. Congratulations to Coach Gina, Coach Ambree and Coach Tony on the team's accomplishment!

Gatorade Player of the Year
Leahi Soccer Club congratulates Kiani Halushka on being named the 2014 Hawaii High School Gatorade Player of the Year. Kiani, a member of the 97 Premier team, helped lead Kamehameha Kapalama to the 2014 Hawaii High School Division 1 title.  She will take her talents to the University of Hawaii Manoa this Fall. Halushka joins elite company. She becomes the 13th Leahi SC member to be named Gatorade Player of the Year. More than any other club in the State! Check out other Leahi recipients below. Leahi '01 Premier qualifies to represent Hawaii at the US Club Soccer National Cup XIII to be held July 18-21 in Greensboro, North Carolina.  Congrats '01 Premier, Good Luck in North Carolina!

Honolulu Star Advertiser All-State Team Leahi Soccer Club DOMINATES the Star Advertiser's All State Teams. Led by University of Hawaii bound Kiani Halushka, of Kamehameha, the HHSAA State Tournament MVP and State Player of the Year, Leahi placed 7 players on the All State First Team. Joining Halushka are: Janelle Stone; Kawai Makue; Kayla Mizo; Sarah Lau and Shyann Moriguchi of Kamehameha Kapalama and Nycole Mitsuyasu or Iolani. Halushka and Lau play with Leahi 97 Premier, while the others all play for Leahi 96 Premier.

Leahi also claimed 6 of the 11 spots on the All State Second Team. Sonest Furtado of Waianae; Kayla Watanabe of Mid Pacific; Megan Goo of Iolani; Kelli Fryxell of Kapolei and Hannah (Lei) Kaina and Sisilia Meli of Kamehameha Kapalama were named to the All State Second team.

No club has placed more players on the first and second team than Leahi Soccer Club. Congratulations to all, we are so proud of you!

ILH All-Stars - 2014
Leahi Soccer Club recognizes the achievements of our members during the recently completed High School season. Leahi swept the individual honors this year.  Leahi congratulates Coach Melissa Moore for being named ILH Coach of the Year for 2014. Also honored were Forward Kiani Halushka, ILH Offensive Player of the Year and Defender Kayla Mizo, Defensive Player of the Year. All are members of the State Champion Kamehameha Kapalama Warriors.

Leahi placed 8 players on the 13 member First team.
Megan Goo, Pikake Kaneshiro, Nycole Mitsuyasu of Iolani; Janelle Stone and Sarah Lau of Kamehameha; Kayla Watanabe of Mid Pacific; Bo Samson of Sacred Hearts; Hiilani Thomas of Punahou were all named ILH First team All-Stars.

Leahi also placed 7 players on the 13 member Second Team.  Sisilia Meli, Kawai Makue, Lei Kaina and Shyann Moriguchi of Kamehameha Kapalama along with Keala Parker Lee of Sacred Hearts; Rachel Bowler of Iolani and Tasi Reid of Pac 5 were all named to the ILH Second Team.

Leahi 95 Premier Finishes Third at US Youth Soccer Nationals Championships

National 3rd Place

Leahi 95 Premier, of the Oahu League of the Hawaii Youth Soccer Association conceded a late goal to the defending National Champions VSA Heat Blue of Virginia to lose it's first match of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series.  In it's first game of the National Championships played in Overland Park Kansas, Leahi tied Cal South Champion and National League Blue Division Champion Legends FC 1-1 on a goal by TJ Reyno.  In Leahi's second match, the 95 Premier defeated FC United Select of Illinois, the Region II representative. Goals scorers were Dempsey Banks and Julie Khil. Leahi would test the defending National Champions early and often, but couldn't break through in their third match of the National Championships. In the 86th minute, Virginia put in the game winner off a corner kick.

Leahi 95 Premier finishes the year third in the Nation.

Goal Keeper Anu Kahele-Manners is named to the US Youth Soccer "Best 11" All-Tournament Team for the GU18 division.

Region IV Champs!

On Sunday, 6/23/2013 Leahi 95 Premier defeated Colorado Arsenal 3-2 in the Girls Under 18 Division Finals of the US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships held at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. Powered by 2 goals by Dempsey Banks (Cornell University bound) and a goal by Kama Pascua (Univ. of Hawaii bound), the 95 Premier claimed Leahi Soccer Club's first Regional title and a trip to the National Championships in Overland Park Kansas, July 22-28.  Coaches Scott Keopuhiwa and Laurie Baker lead the group which includes Rachel Akau, Dempsey Banks, Summer Burnett, Vanessa Cabilan, Izzy Delgado, Rebecca Harper, Riki Iwanaga, Anu Kahele-Manners, Storm Kenui, Julie Khil, Taylor Kipilii, Keala Makekau, Kaimi Morreira, Ashley Park Hunt, Kama Pascua, Machaela Rapozo, Jensen Toner, Abcde Zoller.
