Leahi SC Wins MISO W1 Fall League
Leahi SC won the MISO W1 Fall season for the SIXTH consecutive season and 10th overall league championship. Leahi defeated the Bulls 2-1 in the final played on 10/27 at Waipio Stadium. Ambree Ako also was awarded the "Leading Scorer" Trophy for her 9 goals on the season. Sonest Furtado was a close second with 8 goals. Both Sonest and Ambree scored in the Final. Congratulations Ladies!
MISO Junior U19 Girls Champions
Congratulations to Leahi 96 Premier on claiming the U19 Gold division Championship of MISO Junior with a 1-0 victory over HSC Bulls in the Final. Sonest Furtado scored the game winner with 5 minutes left in the final. Sonest claimed the leading scorer title for the division with her 8th goal on the season. Congratulations Leahi 96 Premier!

Leahi 95 Premier Finishes Third at US Youth Soccer Nationals Championships
Leahi 95 Premier, of the Oahu League of the Hawaii Youth Soccer Association conceded a late goal to the defending National Champions VSA Heat Blue of Virginia to lose it's first match of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. In it's first game of the National Championships played in Overland Park Kansas, Leahi tied Cal South Champion and National League Blue Division Champion Legends FC 1-1 on a goal by TJ Reyno. In Leahi's second match, the 95 Premier defeated FC United Select of Illinois, the Region II representative. Goals scorers were Dempsey Banks and Julie Khil. Leahi would test the defending National Champions early and often, but couldn't break through in their third match of the National Championships. In the 86th minute, Virginia put in the game winner off a corner kick.
Leahi 95 Premier finishes the year third in the Nation.
Goal Keeper Anu Kahele-Manners is named to the US Youth Soccer "Best 11" All-Tournament Team for the GU18 division.

LEAHI 95 PREMIER CLAIMS REGION IV TITLE!
On Sunday, 6/23/2013 Leahi 95 Premier defeated Colorado Arsenal 3-2 in the Girls Under 18 Division Finals of the US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships held at Waipio Peninsula Soccer Complex. Powered by 2 goals by Dempsey Banks (Cornell University bound) and a goal by Kama Pascua (Univ. of Hawaii bound), the 95 Premier claimed Leahi Soccer Club's first Regional title and a trip to the National Championships in Overland Park Kansas, July 22-28. Coaches Scott Keopuhiwa and Laurie Baker lead the group which includes Rachel Akau, Dempsey Banks, Summer Burnett, Vanessa Cabilan, Izzy Delgado, Rebecca Harper, Riki Iwanaga, Anu Kahele-Manners, Storm Kenui, Julie Khil, Taylor Kipilii, Keala Makekau, Kaimi Morreira, Ashley Park Hunt, Kama Pascua, Machaela Rapozo, Jensen Toner, Abcde Zoller.
Leahi 95 Premier - GU18 State Cup Champions
Congratulations to Leahi 95 Premier on winning the 6th US Youth Soccer Hawaii State Cup Championships. 95 Premier went 3-0 in the tournament with wins over Riggers, Maui United and HSC Bulls. 95 Premier will represent Leahi and Hawaii in the US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships in June, here in Hawaii. Congrats 95 Premier!
Leahi Dominates Honolulu Star-Advertiser Girls All State Soccer Team(s)

7 of the 11 players on the Star-Advertiser's Girls All State Soccer First team hail from Leahi Soccer Club, 5 from Leahi 95 Premier. Congratulations to Taylor Kipilii (Iolani/ 95 Premier) on being named 2013 Player of the Year. 1st Team members include: Kama Pascua (Iolani/ 95 Premier), Storm Kenui (Moanalua/ 95 Premier), Dempsey Banks (Punahou/ 95 Premier), Jensen Toner (Punahou/95 Premier), TJ Reyno (Mililani/ 96 Premier) and Tasalina Leoso (Mililani/ Leahi 96 Maile). Kipilii will attend the United States Naval Academy in the Fall, while Pascua, Kenui and Reyno will stay home and represent the University of Hawaii. Toner will take her talents to USC while Banks will head east to Cornell University. Leoso is a Junior.
Leahi also dominated the 2nd Team All State with 7 of the 11 players from Leahi SC. The following were selectioned: Sonest Furtado (Waianae/ 96 Premier), Kawai Makue (Kamehameha/ 96 Premier), Nycole Mitsuyasu (Iolani/ 97 Premier), Ashley Park Hunt (Iolani/ 95 Premier), Summer Burnett (Kamehameha/ 95 Premier), Isabelle Delgado (Moanalua/ 95 Premier) and Noelani Kong-Johnson (Punahou/ 97 Premier). Delgado will attend UNLV in the Fall while while Burnett will become a Bulldog at the University of Georgia. Congratulations to all on a great High School season.

National Letter of Intent Signing Day - 2/6/2013
Leahi Soccer Club would like to recognize the following members on signing National Letter of Intent to become a student-athlete at the college of their choice. Leahi strongly encourages ALL of it's members to continue their education after high school.13 Leahi SC members participated in the PIAA Letter Signing Ceremony at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel on the first day high school students can sign. Leahi Soccer Club wishes to extend is congratulations to ALL it's members that represented their schools during the recently completed 12-13 season. We would especially like to recognize our members that claimed State titles. Coach Kris Masunaga (Leahi '81) and Jamie Shoma Loo (Leahi '82) lead Iolani to it's first ILH and State title in 13 years. Leahi members helping Iolani claim the title are: Kama Pascua, Ashley Park-Hunt, Taylor Kipilii (95 Premier); Kylie Takafuji (96 Premier); Nikki Mitsuyasu, Pikake Kaneshiro, Megan Goo, Kamerin Fong (97 Premier); Kristen Hori (97 Maile); Rachel Bowler (98 Premier). Leahi also extends congratulations to the Mid-Pacific Owls who won their third straight State championship. Leahi Leads HHSAA All-Tournament Teams
Leahi Soccer Club is proud to recognize the following members that were named to the HHSAA All Tournament teams. For Division 1, they are: Kama Pascua, Ashley Park-Hunt, Taylor Kipilii (95 Premier/ Iolani); Dempsey Banks, Jensen Toner (95 Premier/ Punahou); TJ Reyno- 96 Premier/Mililani HS); Nikki Mitsuyasu (97 Premier/Iolani). For Division 2, they are: Julie Khil (95 Premier/MPI). Khil was also named "Co Most Outstanding Player" of the Division 2 State Tournament.
