Leahi Sweeps UH Tourney  (Posted: 3/4/2008)

Last year, University of Hawaii split their annual Six-A-Side Tournament into a Youth and Adult division to comply with NCAA rules.
This year, Leahi Soccer Club claimed both the Youth and Adult Divisions. On the Youth Side, Leahi 91 Premier went undefeated in pool play, advancing to the semifinals against our own Leahi 93s. The 93s hung tough, but the experience 91s pulled away with a 4-2 victory. 91 Premier went on to defeat HSC Bulls Black 3-1 in the final to claim the Youth title.

Meanwhile, Leahi Open (the women's team) also went undefeated in the tournament, beating the UH Green team in the final 2-1. Picture above, with their championship trophy are the Women's Open team.
