Takekawa had her senior season cut short last year as she tore her ACL, but has a year of eligibilty remaining and is scheduled to return to the St Mary's in the Fall.

The Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL) was formed in 1998, as a Regional Amateur League serving the Western United States, sanctioned by the United States Amateur Soccer Association (USASA).

The WPSL was developed as to provide a playing opportunity for the elite woman soccer players to play, develop and promote Women's Soccer at the highest Amateur level in North America. It has made every effort to bring quality soccer to all levels of the community and to promote the stature of female athletes as role models for our youth. If you are in the Bay Area this summer, get out there and support some of our Leahi Alums!
